Daniels: Free agent crop weak

In advance of next week's G.M. meetings, Jon Daniels says he expects the trade market to be more active than usual, due to the weak crop of free agents.

The Tim Hudson and Lance Berkman contract extensions last winter eviscerated this year's free agent pool.  After Brian Giles and A.J. Burnett, there's not a lot out there, which means the Rangers are going to have to use a lot of that creativity and aggressiveness we've been hearing about to fill the holes in the pitching staff and in the outfield.
