The last post of the year...

No Rangers news to speak of, no big baseball news to talk about...things are pretty quiet right now...

I contemplated doing a "year in review" type thing, but decided against it, partly because of the time it would take to do, but more because I just didn't feel like it.  

At this point, particularly on the heels of the Millwood signing, I'm more interested in looking forward than looking back.  2005 was a disappointment on the field for the Rangers, but with Jon Daniels taking over and with the moves that the Rangers have made this offseason, I'm feeling much more optimistic about the coming season, and about this team, than I have in some time.

Some I'll just wish everyone a happy new year, and hope that 2006 brings tidings of great joy to us Rangers fans...
