8/6/05 game day thread

I'm going to the game tonight, which means I'm getting on the road here in the next 20-30 minutes, which means I have to post the game day thread early today.

I'm going to be in Dallas through Thursday for a seminar, and while I'm there, I'm going to try to catch a Frisco game either Monday or Tuesday. Diamond is apparently going on Monday, with Danks on Tuesday, so hopefully I'll be able to provide my thoughts on one of those two guys...

For the record...

I was supposed to go to the game with Adam today, and if anyone has done the math on when he posted this, where he lives, and when the game started, we're obviously not going to the game now.

Damn, that is disappointing...

I've had a fairly specific mental picture of Adam for years now, and he looks nothing like I thought. He looks like a random Houston area guy with a Tahoe that has a "W: The President" sticker on the back window.

Meh.

For the record, I always thought Adam looked like this guy:
