Matthews to the Mets?

He just set "our lineup" referring to the Mets on Baseball Tonight! OH NOES!

Yeah, probably just a Freudian slip, when you say one thing but mean your mother.

That Said
I'm starting to like GMJ more and more from watching him on BBTN. He seems like a really smart, well-spoken, nice guy. Not to say I didn't like him before, but I like him even more now.

I always pegged that guy for TV
I heard him once on radio and was amazed how much he sounds like a white guy.

That said he seems fairly wooden the three seconds I just saw.

Why are baseball players so stiff? Contrast with the football commentators who are ex players.

btw, I noticed the Mets slipup by GMJ too....

I think he's not mediocre enough for the Rangers to attempt to sign him. Just like they talk about pitching and let it all go they talk about CF and will let him go. The Rangers dont want pitching or a CF.

so
if he signs with the rangers, does that make him mediocre?

Hmmm
Mathewws to the Mets, and interesting choice...of course I know this is only speculation but I think he would like it there

Of all the FA I want to keep him and Padilla the most.
