Barajas about to sign w/ Jays
...per rotoworld.
"Free agent Rod Barajas is expected to sign a two-year deal to take over as the Jays' primary catcher. He'll get about $3 million per year. Barajas won't contribute quite as much on offense as Bengie Molina and Gregg Zaun did last season, but he should be an upgrade on defense. The Jays will probably use Jason Phillips as his backup."

DANG IT!!!
I can't believe he took the job for only 3 nillion per year, I was expecting us to give him a 8/160 type deal. WHY DIDN'T WE SIGN HIM?!?!?!
Sooner or later all those popups were bound to turn into HR's.
I'm gonna hate watching Hafner I mean Barajas hit 40+ HR's for the Jays for the next 2 years.
FIRE JD!!
