Sweet Jesus

Just when i think nothing can surprise me anymore, a cro-magnon quasi-sheethead knuckledragger like John Rocker is dating one of the finest women on the planet.
What makes it even more implausible:
- She's a minority
- Evidently, she's pretty damn smart (cum laude from UConn in neuroscience)
- She capable and seemingly well-adjusted
What's that old Robin Harris line? Woman so fine make you wanna get a JOB...with BENEFITS...
I really don't get this.
This puzzle is missing a piece...

And I am mainly talking about the face. She looks like a transvestite to me. But hey, if that's your thing then more power to ya.

Yeah
YOU GET HIM LIBERALS.
by Sharky on Dec 14, 2006 4:43 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
No
Has nothing to do with being PC.
No idea why I'm replying to a sharky post about political correctness...it's like trying to have a conversation with a tree stump.
by RangerMoto on Dec 14, 2006 4:47 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Yes, it does
That's the difference why he is ostracized for his stupid statements, but say Michael Irvin isn't for his.
The difference is liberals have the power.

Wait A Second
That's what it certainly sounds like you are saying.

ok joe, you sucked me in.
And for the record, i think John Rocker is a complete close minded moron.
This comes from a redneck that grew up outside Corsicana, TX, out in the country, so please don't assume that we all feel the way Sharky does.

Ahh
I still like it. But what's most funny to me now is the dog (with the particularly clever moniker of "dog"). At the time, I bought the whole wolflike appearance.
Now I split my gut every time I see it's Lasse's lil bro with cheapass spray paint...

I personally don't believe
It just amuse me when the Redneck Republicans become their loudest spokespeople.

I also dont like
But somehow, that doesn't apply to John Rocker, or other people who say unapproved things.
by Sharky on Dec 14, 2006 4:49 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Something to take note of
But I don't think your examples of Bill Clinton and Kobe Bryant are very good ones. Those two are criticized all the time.
by Dustin on Dec 14, 2006 4:53 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Kobe
And still very, very heavily criticized.

And I easily imagine an office full of well-paid professionals seeing to it that it stays that way.

He's criticized
by Taylor on Dec 14, 2006 5:40 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Well..
The best part was him talking about how him and Irvin are friends and how Micheal gets away with having a lifestyle of cocaine and whores but everybody forgives him for it.
The smartest thing he said was about how Ozzie Gullien could have said the exact same things and nobody would have said much about it. But since Rocker fits the stereotypical "Redneck from the South" profile that it became a permanent label for him. So true.
But of course him being an idiot doesn't help matters.

A Request
"Well, anyway, those liberal media people, they'll appreciate some things, but I am a Republican. I'm not Republican in everything - I mean, look at my girlfriend - and I'm not a huge pro-lifer..."
"There are two or three hot-button issues in this country that people feel like they need eradicate, and racism is one of them."
- all by John Rocker
This guy is a moron. A real life moron. I am requesting, as a conservative Republican, immunity from John Rocker. He is not a member of My Republican party. I am in disbelief that anyone who ever wants to be in politics (laughible) would be dumb enough to say this crap.
And for Alicia, does she not have any self-respect. It is obvious that this moron is using the color of her skin to promote his shocking image. I can't believe her father didn't take him out behind the tool shead.
WHat a loser.

Gotta love it...
And so continues the inherent hypocrisy of conservatism. Good times.
by RangerMoto on Dec 14, 2006 11:44 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
if misspelling a word or two makes one a moron
Further, if you think he's a hypocrite because he didn't run his post through a spellchecker then man up and call him on it, don't lump it in as "inherent hypocrisy of conservatism." That's just a lazy throw-away potshot. There are lots of good sound quality reasons to bash away at the GOP.
P.S. - I voted for Nader. TWICE.
