What about Tejeda?

I see everyone freaking out about not having padilla and trying to get zito, which i want both on this team, but i never hear anything positve or negative about Robinson Tejeda. Once he was called back up in August last year, he had 8 starts and gave up 14 earned runs, i think i would take that out of a 4th starter. Maybe he has finally found it.

You must have not been paying attention.  Hes basically a lock in for the 5th spot...

Him and Millwood are the only two lock ins for the rotation...

Ruddy Yan- 2007 starting centerfielder for the Orioles...

no!
put tejeada in the 4th spot and sign two of these pitcher: miguel batista, vincente padilla, barry zito, ted lilly, jason scmhidt, and jeff supan. then call up: john danks, eric hurly, or thomas diamond, in the fith spot.

Why
do people like Miguel Batista. Leftys love hitting against him, and moving from the NL to AL isn't going to help out his 1.53 WHIP. Yeah he'll probably give us 200 innings if he comes here, but he'd be a lock for a 5.00+ ERA.
Here are some splits:

Thank you
I wouldn't mind Batista in here, but only if we sign two other vets for the 2nd and 3rd spots. Batitsta as a 4th starter/swingman makes some sense since he seems to always throw a lot of innings and would offer some protection in case Tejeda stumbles, but depending on Batista to be one of our top three starters is silly.
