Nevin

Once again Phil Nevin is proving that he crushes the ball only when it is hurled by a lefty:

Vs. RHP:   .204/.305/.388/.693 in 103 AB's
Vs. LHP:    .333/.405/.606/1.011 in 33 AB's

Those splits are pretty severe.

At what point do y'all think the team figures out that Nevin would be about a million times more usefull as part of a strict lefty/righty platoon?

And who could we use as the other half? Update [2006-5-13 6:45:35 by thedirkatron]:

Lest you think that 130+ AB's is still too early in the season to make a decision on Nevin's suckiness against righties, here are his 3-year splits (2003-2005) per ESPN.com:

vs. LHP: .286/.377/.547/.924

vs. RHP: .262/.316/.411/.727
