Jason Botts homers again
3-5 tonight with his 10th homerun and 12th double. He's now hitting .324/.373/.634 on the year. He's crushing righties to the tune of .323/.389/.667, but unless Nevin completely falls apart I don't see Buck arranging a Nevin/Botts lefty-righty platoon.
Botts has not been walking quite as much(probably because he's hitting the ball so well), but his strikeout rate is still slightly high, which will probably not put to rest the concerns about him having a long swing. Regardless, the Rangers absolutely have to find a way to get Jason into the lineup, because he doesn't have much left to prove in the minors and he's not exactly "young" at two months shy of his 26th birthday.

No hits in six innings is pretty impressive. We'll see how he does when he gets back to AAA.
