Not sure how many music fans there are out there, but I wanted to recommend checking out Scott Miller, a singer who is currently on tour in Texas. He's from Knoxville, TN and puts on a really good show. Looks like he is hitting Denton tomorrow, then Dallas, Gruene, San Marcos, Austin, Houston, College Station, FW, OKC, etc.

Most of his stuff is roots rock with a little bit of bluegrass and country (the good kind) thrown in, along the lines of Tom Petty, Neil Young, Steve Earle, etc. I saw him a couple months back in Austin with his full band, and it was a great show. I believe his current tour is solo and acoustic. He is a great songwriter and an entertaining performer, so I'm sure you would enjoy it if you are into this kind of music.
