Koronka Pulled After 60 Pitches??

Not sure why

Star-divide

Did I miss something? Hopefully not an injury. . .I didn't catch the game.

The Rangers...
had two men on with Koronka coming up.  They pinch hit Botts for Koronka.

I agreed
with the decision at the time. In a close game like that having runners on first and second with one out is worth a shot with a PH, IMO.
Got trust factor?

I didn't
I think you have Koronka bunt, and then see what GMJ can do with two runners in scoring position and two outs.

I think that was a classic case of an AL manager over-reacting to a situation, and losing a pitcher who was throwing well and could have gone another two or three innings.

I think...
It was a classic example of why NL baseball sucks.

Because Managers

what is managing about
taking a pitcher out when he is doing well?  I hate that you feel obligated to pull a pitcher even if he is doing well just because you need a run.  I think managing what the players do on the field should be their worry not making subs because you have a pitcher batting next.
MLB doesn't want the Rangers to succeed.

Koronka couldn't bunt
That would've been the right move if he was actually capable of doing it.

Ummm...
the bullepn went 3 innings and gave up only one run. What were the odds that Koronka, had he been left it, would have shut them out over those last three innings?
Got trust factor?
