Pro Quality. Fan Perspective.
Around SBN: Has Kentucky Improved Since the Non-Conference Season?

I've always been a Mench fan but..........

he looked lost and disinterested at the plate and in the field today and for the last several times he's played.  When did he become such an outfield butcher?  If that's all he's got to offer, he can sit.
Has he let Buck's preference for DeRo get in his head?
What could he fetch in a trade?  Does he just need a change of scenery, or is this all he really is?

Mench
Nice, affable, fan-friendly types always get overrated because of how much everyone likes to root for them.

Do I like Kevin Mench? Yes.

Do I think he's anything more than a league average corner outfielder with the bat and an absolutely horrible fielder? Yes.

He's not good and we need to see what we can get for him, prefferably as part of a package for an impact player.

Got trust factor?

mench
quite possibly my favorite player, who has always had a ton of potential and never lived up to it.

he either needs to get his act together really quickly, or get traded. and that really pains me to say.

Pimps be damned, it's harder out here for a Rangers fan!

Why not
see if you can give him to the Yankees. Hes not that expensive and I know it would be a stretch but see what itd take to get Hughes from them. I know you'd have to throw someone else in, maybe a pitcher but he would fit their needs very well.

No
No trade.

Let me tell you what he fetches in a trade for the Rangers: Nothing. For the Astros he brings an all star. But for the Rangers, zilch.
