but that has a lot more to do with the fact that i like his style, from what i know about him.  not that i thought he would hit 16 in the first round

I will watch....
It's still a baseball game so I will watch it but I hate almost every outside aspect of it.  Not every team should get a player if they don't deserve one.  The fans shouldn't have the final say in who starts at all but especially because.......The outcome shouldn't decide home field in the World Series.

I almost forgot
Having pitchers in the lineup in this game is also stupid.

it might as well be
a DH spot, no pitcher will hit.
it will actually be a simple way of getting people into the game.

Why would I be kidding?
Part of a catcher's job is to block balls in the dirt, particularly with a runner on third.

Even on a wild pitch, there is usually some blame that rests on the catcher for not blocking the ball.

by Adam J. Morris on Jul 11, 2006 8:48 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

Because he did block the ball
i guess it's his fault that a 57 foot breaking ball nounced, glanced off his chest protector and squirt away...
