This isn't one of those goofy youtube clips...This one is actually funny, I guarantee it! If you don't find this clip funny and shocking I will personally fire Buck!

Jesus,
OT: There's more to life than baseball and comic books...
Yeah, I'm the dumb one
Brian
He didn't say you were the dumb one, he just said you had a stick up your ass....
I guess I'll try my hand at board moderation just to see what it's like since everyone else seems to think it's all grand and stuff.
Even if Agreen's diary isn't that great, it's just a diary, dude.
It's not worth getting up in arms about.
If he HAD called you dumb, then, I'd see something to reply to. But he didn't do that.
Req
Heh. Are you annoyed with me?
Your point is made, though. Touche'. The more I think about the phrase "I'll guess I'll try my hand at board moderation," the more I crack up.
As for the up in arms part, I guess that is a limitation of these boards. If we were in person, it would be quite clear that I am anything but.

Re:
It seemed rather innocuous what Agreen was doing, and it seemed that you took it quite seriously, perhaps maybe too much.
I could be mistaken about it, though.
FWIW, this isn't an attempt at retaliation, but more just something more in fun.
I WAS trying to be funny with the board moderation bit, and I'm glad you got a laugh out of it.
Normally, I wouldn't do this, but with the reversal of roles, I thought it presented some opportunities for comic relief.
Anyways, if I misread your intentions, my apologies.
Req
No. Your post was very funny.
I probably should have either ignored his diary, or been more tactful in my reply.
I guess that is a symptom of what has annoyed me lately: a lot of people posting diaries in a seriously half-assed manner.
The funny thing about this conversation is, the next time I post a diary, I bet I'll get pounced on...

That's pretty much what I thought. Though, I can see what you're talking about with the diaries.
I just don't think it's much of a big deal since they'll likely be off the first page soon, anyways.
And, of course, you are setting yourself up if you ever post a less than stellar diary.
Req
Brian Thomas
It is people like you that make me hope one day AJM implements some sort of common sense exam that prospective bloggers are required to pass before being allowed to post on this great website.
Common sense exam
Nothing would benefit from it more than the post new diary function.
And let me get this straight. You posted a boring, yesterday's news diary that saturated the airwaves 2-3 weeks ago, and I called you on it. Then you tell me to remove "stick from ass."
And I'm the jackass with no common sense?
I'd take my chances with you on that test any day.
But really, is this truly worth arguing about? Who cares?

Mr. Thomas
Re: Best posters....
I wouldn't go THAT far :p.
I'll let you and Brian hash this out.
Req
Certainly
Re: best poster
My two choices for best posters would probably be
BurntOrange and zwyica. Lucas and edcoffin are also great posters, but they don't post enough to be considered, IMO.
Of course, I'd take all four of those guys over the two you named (though that's not really saying much since those four are such excellent posters).
Req
Zywica and Burnt
The Dirkatron,he's one of my favorite posters. I'd wouldn't mind having some some beers with him. He'd ace agree's aforementioned, sanctimonious "common sense exam."

Re:
Aside from the pedophile concerns, her nose is rather weird.
Besides, there's the problem you mentioned of Sharky coming along for the ride.
Give me a Selma Hayek or if we're going younger, Keira Knightley, any day.
Req
More to life?

Diary
IN the end, maybe not worth a diary but with all the comments that have come from it, this has been one good diary. Funny, how that happens.
