Your point is made, though. Touche'. The more I think about the phrase "I'll guess I'll try my hand at board moderation," the more I crack up.

As for the up in arms part, I guess that is a limitation of these boards. If we were in person, it would be quite clear that I am anything but.

It seemed rather innocuous what Agreen was doing, and it seemed that you took it quite seriously, perhaps maybe too much.

I could be mistaken about it, though.

FWIW, this isn't an attempt at retaliation, but more just something more in fun.

I WAS trying to be funny with the board moderation bit, and I'm glad you got a laugh out of it.

Normally, I wouldn't do this, but with the reversal of roles, I thought it presented some opportunities for comic relief.

In agree's defense, there have been many, way more putrid and/or superfluous diaries posted.

I probably should have either ignored his diary, or been more tactful in my reply.

I guess that is a symptom of what has annoyed me lately: a lot of people posting diaries in a seriously half-assed manner.

The funny thing about this conversation is, the next time I post a diary, I bet I'll get pounced on...

Let me get this straight. Because I post one news story from "You Tube", that means it is my main source for news? That makes a lot of sense. I am glad to see you are learning so much from all of that investigative reporting you have been watching on "all the news stations".

It is people like you that make me hope one day AJM implements some sort of common sense exam that prospective bloggers are required to pass before being allowed to post on this great website.

First off I don't think it was boring. And I don't think other people did either, evidenced by the approval of Thedirkatron and Texgoesyard, two of the best posters here on LSB. Secondly, I never called you dumb or a jackass so stop accussing me of calling you names. Finally you ask if this is worth arguing about? No it isn't, I was innocently trying to post a funny video for everyone out there who could use a nice laugh during the day. Instead of not writing anything at all, you decide to insult my diary. So don't ask me if this is worth arguing about when you were the one that started this whole argument.

I don't know if I'd go that far, either.

My two choices for best posters would probably be

BurntOrange and zwyica. Lucas and edcoffin are also great posters, but they don't post enough to be considered, IMO.

Of course, I'd take all four of those guys over the two you named (though that's not really saying much since those four are such excellent posters).

This story is weeks old and probably (as evidenced by the posts) many had seen it already. However, I will say it is quite a video and not a bad one to see.

IN the end, maybe not worth a diary but with all the comments that have come from it, this has been one good diary. Funny, how that happens.
