its been out on a pirated release for a few days

fox made a dvd of the first 4 episodes to release with the start of the season, someone got their hands on it and its been floating around the net.

im not going to watch it because i want to watch in HD anyway.

i'm torn on watching the first 4 now, or waiting until they air.... it's kind of like waiting for christmas when you are a kid , you really don't want to wait but it's also part of the excitement.

Myself...

main reason I went ahead and watched it was the fact that I move back to Fort Worth on Saturday to start spring semester and as with any move back, Sunday and Monday nights would likely be filled with seeing people I haven't seen over holidays, so it's possible I might have missed them.

Definitely going to be a good season though it looks like from the first 4 episodes. I won't ruin any of it though.

What cheered me up a little

was TiVoing and watching the handful of episodes of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia that FX showed last night before I went to bed. I Mavs win on HDNet tonight would also cheer me up a little.

i love that show

is a new season coming soon? they seriously need to make those seasons longer.
and i seriously need to step into the HD revolution, i just can't find a tv i like for the price.

Yeah, the 2nd season was a huge improvement

over the first.

Let's hope they duplicate that progress...

I sort of disagree

The first season might have been a tad hit and miss, but there were very funny episodes. And every second that Danny DeVito was on screen during that second season detracted from the quality. He threw the chemistry that the four have off and tried to be a dominating presence, which of course is the only gear he knows. But I guess I would have to admit that my three favorite episodes, the welfare one, the basketball one, and the burning down the building first one are probably my favorites so far. But DeVito did nothing to contribute to that. But, if his name helped them keep the show going, it was worth it.

it was

the first or second episode of the 2nd season.
some guy from israel bought the building across the street from the bar, and that actually included half of the land in which the bar was on, so they were supposed to be kicked out, but they wanted to get back at him.
i think what happened, is they threw flaming bags of crap at the building, and it burned down, because the building was having gas problems.

one of my favorite jokes is in that episode...
Dennis told Mac and Charlie they can't say "Jew" because he thinks it is a racial slur, and they tell him its not. Later when they start their plans to get back at the guy, Dennis says something like "lets show that jew who he's dealing with" really emphasizing JEW. Heh, and the other guys freaked out on him, "that was a hard J man"

those were great

i also liked the episode where they had the stain on the wall that they thought looked like jesus, that was great. the abortion episode was so wrong, yet so funny as well.
