Mazzone out in Baltimore

Time to reunite him with his old project, Kevin Millwood!

Thoughts? I know, I know. Not diary-worthy, but if Adam were to just enable Recommended Diaries, you could easily just not recommend it and the other great diaries would remain at the top. Just saying.

Sounds good to me
I can't think of any reason to keep Mark Connor if we could get Mazzone instead. I know he was apparently responsible for turning Halladay around, but he hasn't done anything since he has been in Texas that shows me he has any idea what he is doing.

I agree
If there is a chance to get Mazzone in here I think you have to do it.

connor
is not a Washington pick and I do not think that coach money would be an issue with the Rangers. I can see it now, Manzonne and Padilla pals forever.

He'd...
...have to work on his aim.  When Mazzone starts rocking away on the bench, he's probably tough to hit squarely with anything.
What's the deal with all the artists?

Heh
My brother rocks like that.  I sure wish he was a highly paid pitching coach, too.

At some
point you have to place blame on the pitching coach right?  Why not replace him with a resonable guy like leo.

Connor
Does he get blame for the disaster early in the year, but no credit for the good pitching later in the season?

I don't blame him
for stumbling out of the gate, but when you have a proven guy like Leo, you go after him.
Yeah, well at least I'm housebroken.

not just
because he's a name, but because by all accounts, he's one of the best teachers in the game.

I don't know
whether or not Mazzone would be a good fit here, but my comment is in response to the general tendency to paint the entire season black, or to blame the pitching coach when most of the blame belongs on the players.

guys come and go.....
I say its up to Daniels but Wash would have to approve because he is trying to run the team.  If he thinks A guy with leos attributes are better then connors then Daniels has to at least acknowledge that.  I do however, like what Connors has done with Volquez.  Halliday part duex?

i'd settle for
a baseball humidor.

MLB lets Coors
use a humidor that takes the baseballs to the same temperature and humidity that exists at the baseball factory.

If the Rangers used it, it would dry out the balls.
