We're already paying the guy anyway. Yanks are looking to reduce payroll. If we could sign him up, I'd be for re-signing Whiffy.
As for the pitching - As many bodies that JD has stockpiled, surely we can cull a decent rotation out of them.
A-Rod's offense would be like adding 2 OF'ers.
