Minor League Ball organizational rankings

Similar to the D-tron's prospect project, the commenters on Sickel's sight are conducting a ranking of baseball's farm systems. Guess who is in the top three?

Seems a little bit high for me, but heck I'll take it since the Rangers usually just get hated upon.

#3 is high...
I'd say more in the 7-8 range. However as we have seen with thedirkatron's LSB lists we do finally have a lot of depth and excitement in the minors for a change.

Well I'd say Probably
D-Rays, Reds, Dodgers, Indians, Rockies, Royals, maybe the Tigers or Red Sox.

The Rangers
have a much better farm system than the Royals.  The Royals have promoted most of their talent to the major league level and the farm is left pretty bare.  I'm not very high on the Reds farm either. They have a few super prospects like Votto, Bailey and Bruce but they don't have the depth our farm has.  Farm depth doesn't get enough credit.  The Rangers might not have a top 3 system, but at least they're in the argument.

Don't get me wrong
they are absolutely in the argument. I do think the Reds farms system is better but that is just my opinion, a better argument could be made for the Royals for the point you mentioned with a lot of kids being promoted but they do have more prospects as well.

Is it funny how one year makes a difference.
According to most, Texas was a bottom 10 farm if not bottom 5. Now we're a top 10 farm if not top 5.
