afl-harrison

greg golson lead off and reached on a bunt single in the first. He's the fastest guy I've seen out here. Andrus turned 2 on the next hitter and then harrison got a fly to left. Teagarden is behind the plate and just flew out to left in the top of the 2nd. .555555555555565555 yyyyyyyyyyyy ggggggggggggg gggggggggggggg ggggggggg ggggggggg gggggggg gggggg ggggg gggggg

2nd for harrison
Strikes out larrish on a 91 mph fastball. Gets the next guy looking, then gets a popul to shallow center- tough to type a lot with my phone, but his curveball and slider or sinker looking really sharp. Mayberry just homered to deep left. 1-0

3rd
Single, single, fly out to right, golson triple off the 410 sign, sac fly to left, groundout to 2nd. 3-1 peoria. Andrus grounded to short in the top half of the inning.

3rd (for some reason i started with 2nd)
popup to 2nd, fly to mayberry, fly to left. He's throwing a lot of first pitch curveballs. In top of 4 orenduff gets teagarden swinging.

nevermind
ordering is correct. Were moving into bottom of 5. Harrison is coming back out.

5
ground to 2nd, fly to center, ground to 2nd. If he's done, 4 hits, 3 runs, 2 k's in 5. 1 of the singles was a badly played popup in center... In top of 6 andrus leads off with a 4 pitch walk. Hes shown bunt on the first two bitches both times today after doing the same yesterday

Pitches that is
Damn auto correct.. Harrison is done, but its 4-3 surprise after orenduff fell apart, so hes off the hook. In top off 7 andrus gets buzzed high and tight and then rips the next pitch and first curveball ive seen him hit into left. He then promptly gets picked off by a righthander.

feldman
I've seen him throw a couple of times this spring and he seems to be experimenting with a new delivery. He's much more over the top.

9th
down a run in the bottom of the 9th andrus hits a ground rule double the opposite way to send it to extras.

Yeah
Feldman is supposedly going to more of a three-quarters motion (like Loe's), from what I understand.

i just realized
... Joe savery is sitting behind me charting pitches. He keeps talking about his high school quarterbacking days in houston being the best days of his life. I'm guessing he's got more good ones to come

I'm very sad for him. He has nothing left
to look forward to in his life, after being a high school quarterback.

Kea has been good during AFL.
With today's performance, I believe he's up to 10 IP, 2 R, 17 K, 2 BB

Yeah
ive been really impressed everytime ive seen him. Hes been sitting 92 with good off speed stuff. Feldman was horribe. He looks really lost. Maybe its the mechanics.

The savery stuff was really interesting, seems like a great guy. Apparently one of the scouts at the game saw him play football in high school. Savery was saying drew kelson and vince young are the 2 best athletes hes seen in person. Golson has to be high on the list. He flies around the outfield

Kometani's
stuff has gotten much better since he moved to the pen. I saw three of his starts in April and May this year and he was sitting 86-88 most of the time with inconsistent breaking stuff. After he moved to the pen shortly after that, his stuff was back into the low 90s each time out and his off-speed stuff got much better. His K numbers improved and he was less hittable. The move to the pen basically took him from non-prospect to a guy that may have a future in  a major league bullpen.
