There are a lot of Texas articles on scout.com and all the premium articles are free for a week or so. You can go back and read tons of interviews with players like main, duran, and a bunch of others. Good read if you got time.

One-line diaries are prohibited on Lone Star Ball. Give your diary a bit more thought, then give it another shot. If you have nothing to add to your proposed diary, then it probably belongs as a comment under another appropriate thread

Holland throws low 90s? Wow!

Gotta like the work ethic of Holland, Main, Duran, and Harrison.

This comment by Main reminds me a lot of how Danks systematically worked on his weak points:

"I think [my changeup] improved a little bit," he said. "But I'm still going to have to work on it and it's definitely going to be a focus for me."

Happy to hear what the Rangers have told Duran:

Cole: Have the Rangers given you any idea as to where you will begin the 2008 season?

Duran: They told me I have a really good chance to make the big league squad as a utility guy out of spring training. I'm going to have to go in and produce and have a good spring training.

Madrigal is starting to get me excited. After reading the articles, I'm really pleased with the character in the rangers farm system. Andrus, Beltre, Madrigal, and Main in particular.
