I'd love to see

the Ponies take on a coach looking for some redemption ala Matt Dougherty. I'm thinking Fran needs some down time, but I'd love to see 1)R.C. Slocum, 2)Bob Davies, 3)Terry Bowden.

In an ideal world

I would want them to shell out big time money to bring in Major Applewhite. They would have to blow him away money wise, but if they did it, I could see him turning SMU around in 2-3 years.

He is going to be an excellent head coach. I could see him getting his start at a small school in the next year or two, and then on to UT when Mack decides to hang em up in about 5-7 years.

as a Texas fan that he is leaving, but with Mack "fran" Brown sticking with Colt "peashooter" McCoy at qb we cant even beat a and m with Fran as coach!! How sad!!!
