Broussard/Shelton splits
I've seen numerous projected lineups suggesting a Broussard/Shelton platoon. Also have seen several suggestions that maybe we will only keep one, and if so, it should be Broussard.
Well, I think if it were me, that I'd keep just Shelton. Why? Keeping both would seem to be the end of both Botts and Cruz, plus Shelton is younger, under control longer, and most importantly -- he is better than Broussard vs. both LH and RH pitching.
career
Shelton -- 281/348/477 -- 115 OPS+
Broussard 267/328/458 -- 107 OPS+
vs. RHP
Shelton -- 286/342/498
Broussard 275/336/470
vs. LHP
Shelton -- 269/363/420
Broussard 227/290/399
Of course, Broussard is a pretty sweet musician, so he has that going for him. Check it out, I dig it:

Yeah...
I'd much prefer Shelton out there (unless there's another unmentionable reason to be skeptical of Shelton's performance)....

yep
With what we have now, I think I'd prefer a Cat/Shelton platoon anyway, its better at least offensively than Broussard/Shelton, especially if Broussard is garnering most of the at bats.

shelton/broussard
shelton doesnt have a huge sample size so that may skew it some. however if i had to choose between the two i'd probably take shelton based on age and salary alone

So my question is, how many ABs are we looking at for each player?

If you're asking my opinion, it could use some tweaking, but, other than the pedestrian shit lyrics, it wasn't bad, except for the little plsst plsst chord thing they did near the end. No big complaints here.
And if i say anything else, pos or neg, I'll sound like an imbearably pompous ass.

bad taste in my mouth
Personally I like Cat, always have, but that start last year really rubbed me the wrong way, and I think the jury's still out on Cruz, and I want the verdict ASAP.
I also don't think anybody should be writing off Botts yet - so if JD and Wash make that move, I'll be incredibly pissed off
