We do the Rangers have to make a move? I wonder who will be removed - or whether or not there is a pending trade on the horizon?

Jd has to be doing some deep talking with some GMS. I mean it doesn't really make sense for him to wait to much longer to make a roster move, does it? I mean sure he gets the opportunity to not lose any body, but makes you think if he does have something else on the table.

The 40 man

They don't have to clear a spot until the new contracts are approved, and my understanding is that one of the new deals -- for Fukumori, I think -- hasn't been approved yet.

I imagine they are working the phones, trying to make a deal for someone on the 40 man. And I wouldn't be shocked if they put someone on waivers right around Christmas, to try to sneak them through during the holidays.

I got a text message just now,

telling me Hamilton is a Ranger. I know, old news, but the way they wrote it makes me love this guy even more, in a man crush way. Here it is, "Josh Hamilton proved he had overcome his demons in Cincinnati, and now he wants to conquer his future in Texas."

For sharky's eyes only, "When Diamond comes around, what will we get for him? Seeing how DVD is down the Drain(lol).

I wouldn't mind salty

being traded, but not this year. Wait a year to make sure Tea is the real deal. Salty needs to prove that to everyone first.

i think he's the real deal. He's better than Salty defensively, and he's probably already a better hitter than Salty is right now.

That's getting ahead of things a bit

It remains to be seen if Teagarden can continue that level of hitting, especially if he's catching 5 days a week instead of 2 or 3. Salty has over 400 games in the minors, whereas Tea has just 148. It's pretty bold to say Tea will hit better than Salty right now.
