Juan Gonzalez signs with Yanks?

Just saw this on mlbtraderumors.com and checked out the article but it's in spanish.  2 years for 2 mil.

Do the Yankees really need another DH/Outfielder?

Why give him a 2 year deal when he hasn't had an at bat in 2005 and he's 38 years old?

Here's the link if you understand espanole

Juan
I ran the article through the BabelFish translator, and that's exactly what it says. 2 years, $2 million.

Weird.

weird is right
is this some kind of spring training invite type deal? or a minor league contract? if not the yanks just might be on crack.

2 years
Well you have to give him 2 years because you know 1 of those years he'll be hurt

This sounds like that times
Juan claimed to have deals with other clubs, and nothing ever developed.

I suspect he is just insane as usual.  All those roids are clouding his brain.

The article says
that the Yankees announced it.  Although I can't find that anywhere else.

Haven't teams learned their lessons on Juan?
He milked his injury in his last season in Texas, he milked his injury in Kansas City, he signed with Cleveland and once he got a call-up he milked yet another injury.

After all those warnings the Yanks still sign him for 2 years??  Wow!  I'm placing the over/under on Juan obtaining another season-ending hamstring pull at May 15th.

There better be a crapload of incentives...
Otherwise Juan is going to pull a hamstring in his first at bat of the year. Wait...he already did that once.

Sharky's gonna be pissed

Miles changes his signature too much.

No joke.  I bet that's the case for everyone.

OT
But I've been in Iowa the last few days working on the caucus, and since this is my first post in awhile, I'd like to apologize to Brian.  This system, in Iowa at least, is ridiculous.  That's all.
