ha ha ha... West Mesquite's so called dream season ended with a terrifying nightmare. The Scots slaughtered the lame ass overrated Wranglers 49-6.

Highland Park will play the winner of tonights game between Everman and Wichita Falls Rider.

I've said this for years, if you aren't in highschool and you follow high school football then something is wrong.

What if you root for your old school?

I don't see anything wrong with that. Especially if you played for the school and still know some of the coaches. My old school won their first title this year, and I was pretty jazzed up to hear about it.

Rooting for and/or caring about random high school football teams? That's a little crazy, imo.

But some people think it's crazy how much I care about the Rangers.

Whatever makes you happy, I guess.

Well...

how many black kids does Southlake have? Not very many. HS football isn't all about who has the best athletes. A lot is about who has the most money to have the best coaching and facilities to build a football program. You'll only see a small handful of guys from traditional powers like Austin Westlake, Southlake, Plano, and HP play college football. The urban high schools that they beat have all the future college athletes.
