I know for a while they used "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns n' Roses.

But I've heard them use other stuff too, I believe.

Can't remember that one either. It used to be a great Robert Earl Keen song but last season it was some other country song that sucked. I know Jamey has the PA guy on occasionally to answer questions. He's probably the man with the answers.

seems to be defined by guys who can't sing and write really stupid songs.

There are exceptions

Willie Nelson being the most obvious one. Lyle Lovett is another. REK can't sing, but is a good songwriter. I'm not a fan of Pat Green, though, AT ALL. I don't understand how anyone who is not a 13 year old girl can listen to his music.

I wasn't referring to iconic classics, like Willie or Strait. I'm referring to the "Texas Country" label, which appears to be applied exclusively to the types I mentioned.

I feel bad that I ripped your taste in music. That was pretty annoying of me. To each his/her own.

For the record, my cousin dated Pat for about a year at Tech. I had Thanksgiving dinner with him one year. He is a nice guy. Just don't care for his music much, is all.
