I hope Swisher breaks a leg!
The other's on there I'm OK with, but that guy drives me nuts! BTW, hope they're right about Tex!

College Station advice?
Hi aggierangerfan, I have a question for you.  I'm headed off to College station this summer for school.  Do you have any advice on things to do?  I'm over 21 and spent most of my life in Dallas and am kind of afraid about missing big city life.  I'm not sure how long ago you graduated, but let me know.

Thanks.

State of 1st Basemen
It kind of tells you the state of first basemen right now, though, doesn't it?  I mean, how many teams have platoons at that position going into spring training? 4 or 5? (Tor, Det, LAA, NYY, KC?)

Plus, Beane calls Swisher an outfielder in his interview over on athleticsnation.com (part 2) with Dan "Miami Vice" Johnson being the first basemen (usually).

Swisher'll mostly be an OF
As it stands right now, it looks like Oakland will run a weird 1B/OF platoon where when righties are pitching, Swisher will play in left and Johnson will be 1B, while Kielty will start in left while Swisher plays first against lefties.
