Oden or Durant? Which one would you choose?

You are a NBA general manager with the number 1 pick in the 2007 NBA draft.  The pressure is on you to take the right pick, what do you do?

I don't really know if you can go wrong, but there is a right pick.  That pick would be Greg Oden.

Oden is the most NBA ready, and could be dominate at the rarest position in the NBA.  He is hands down the best defensive player, and his offense won't be that far behind.

The big question is his "offensive skills".  If you think he doesn't have offensive skills, you don't know anything about the situation.  He is still in a soft cast on his SHOOTING hand.  He is still shooting his free throws left handed because his finger is not healed.  Yet he is still avg. over 15 points a game...

The center position is changing in the NBA to a more athletic type presence.  Oden is the poster boy for this, he is a big, athletic player.  How do you pass on a 7 feet, 280 pound beast?

I am not saying Durant won't be a good player, I think he has the potential.  He is just way to skinny right now at the area of 210 pounds and being 6-10.  Although he is dominating right now, he is easily getting pushed around when he doesn't have the ball.

Please vote and state why you think that way.
