OOTP2007

I had major issues with OOTP2006 to the point that this was the first time I haven't pre-ordered the game in about 4-5 years. Today they released the new version to people who pre-ordered. Anybody here buy a copy of it? Early thoughts? Anyone else waiting for the reviews before jumping in?

Baseball Mogul

The new version just came out this week. I'm waiting a couple weeks to get it, so they can get the bug patches and updated rosters released.

I've heard OOTP is fun, but it looks a bit more time-consuming and detailed than BB Mogul. I usually like a sim I can play without taking too seriously, and BB Mogul is great for that.

exactly why i like mogul, its easy to sim a season or two without taking too much time.
i tried ootp and it was just too involved in comparison

I just realized I'm still playing the '06 version (that came out in '05). Guess I should update.

haven't bought it yet

but it seems like they've made an effort to address the concerns everyone had about last year's version to make it more playable, or at least that's what they're saying.
