bullshit

Say they don't reach a deal and I have to get DirecTV. It's on the cusp of opening day. By the time I get some installer in, I'll have missed two weeks or a month of a season.

I knew it was that damn MLB channel. I'm pretty sure that cable and Dish Network won't agree to place that channel on basic or expanded (various companies cable wouldn't add NFL network) but I really don't want to change to SatanTV until I know.

I'm screwed.

Not to stop you from being upset at directv, but it has never taken me more than 2 days to have someone come out to set it up and you're up and running within an hour. As long as they don't drag this out to the Fri/Sat before the season starts you should be fine.
