Is it too early...

for the first closed door meeting? I'm still optimistic about the season and I really like Ron Washington, but is two weeks into the season early for the closed door meeting? That said, the series in Seattle was ugly, fundamentally, with lots of errors and all around poor pitching. Maybe they need a few bats thrown into the showers.

As "hands off" as Wash is said to be when it comes to the club house, I think its good for him to get them together and just get their heads right.

from what I have read

there were no bats thrown in the showers. Its was more of an inspirational speech designed to reinforce the belief that they're better than they've played.
