Stolen bases
Anyone else see the influx of movement on the basepaths so far as a breath of fresh air? I love the fact that we're finally aggressive and fully utilizing our player's abilities. If a guy's got speed and gets on base, let him use it. Kinsler, Cat, Laird, and Wilkerson could all become rather dangerous on the basepaths with this new approach.Another big plus of having Wash here.

Double Edged Sword
It is much akin to the patience that Wilkerson shows at the plate. Called third strikes are one of the hardest things to watch as a fan. However, because of last season, I think a called third strike by Wilkerson will overshadow much of what he does well. Washington could just as equally see his own demise in the eyes of the fans and the press. I am not saying that it will happen, but you never know.
It has only been four games, so we really don't know what Washington's style is like. I'd much rather see a prudent use of the steal (in the right situations and by the right players) than stealing bases just for the sake of stealing bases.
