The last

time a ranger was on the today show was when Arod went on during all of the Red Sox trade rumors. Matt Lauer jokingly offered him two caps to put on, one was a ranger hat and the other was a redsox hat. Arod laughed and would put neither on. Then he Matt pulled out a 3rd hat which was a Yankees hat and put it on Alex's head and said, "a guy can dream can't he" a month later Alex was traded for Soriano and Arias.
