You have to go about halfway down to when the bullpen meltdown happens to get the gist.
Talk about a bunch ready to slit their wrists and looking for bullpen help!

I have no idea what they might have to offer, but surely they have something that would be worthwhile for the Rangers to part with a bullpen piece, maybe even a place to send Feldman?

Uh...
that's a blog for cub fans.  I'm not sure how they're going to influence the Chicago front office to make a trade.

Is the Chicago GM posting on that site, or something?

im pretty sure hes aware of that.
and is simply pointing out a team that wants to contend and has bullpen problems.

point out
that  you shouldn't evaluate trade needs based on fan blogs.

Uh ...
Since the idea came from a Rangers fan blog, what is the difference?  Pointing out how stupid it is to base trade proposals off of what you read on a blog is pretty silly when it's not like posters on this blog have any influence over JD or Hicks.

Since it is all about speculation and having a little fun posting ideas, maybe you should relax a little before chastising somebody else.

not just the blog
the Chicago papers are reporting on the Cubs pen today, and I'm pretty sure Paniella and the management are aware of their struggles.

Also, Atlanta just lost Gonzalez for the year.  They still have options but might be interested in adding.
