Tiger's 3rd = double bogey
Two crappy chips in a row...  Looked like something I'd have done.

First a tough 30 yrd uphill, chips it way low and fast, overshoots the green.  Then a chip from right off the green, it goes about 8 feet instead of the 40 he needed.  misses first putt, double bogey.

yeah
that was not very Tiger-like. looked very amateurish.

He's not looking great today though
Only hit 2 of 5 greens in regulation so far.  With 4-5 players within a stroke of the lead he'll have to take it up a bit to get the win.  I really want him to also so that whole "never came back on Sunday to win a major" meme can be dropped.

Justin Rose...
I was working at Willow Springs Golf Course in Haslet from 1997-1999.  I believe that the Sunday 1998 of the British Open in was a thunderstorm day so the course was pretty empty.  We watched amateur Justin Rose near the top of the leaderboard all day, finishing fourth.  That was pretty cool, but he hasn't come close to meeting the promise of that day.

5 way Tie for 1st place
this tourney is wide open. Tiger is not playing that well right now (though he did make a couple nice par saves).

Tiger....
It is 40 degrees and sunny, the ice on the lake is thinning, and Tiger is going for the triple axle.

Furyk is done
Tiger has to have a good drive on 17 to have a chance at a playoff IMO.

he might have just buried himself in that bunker..
lets see what he can do with this lil pitch for bird on the 17th.
