Around SBN: Manny Knocks In Five, D'Backs Drop To Second Bar-right-arrows

Milton Bradley DFA'd

Per KNBR 680 out here in California.

Also per the A's site:

Was this strictly an injury issue? Did the Bradley baggage come in to play? Does JD take a flyer on the guy?

our new first baseman!
solve his injuries by playing him at 1b!

ehehehehehhe.

but really, i wouldnt imagine that the rangers try to do anything.  I bet the a's are able to get someone to trade them something for him which the rangers wont want to do.

I'd take a flyer on him

Oh man
Boston needs to get him.  They'd have the two best names in baseball.

we need him
BAD.  he's awesome.  I love him.  and if we got him I wouldn't have to say "let's take a flier on Elijah Dukes" anymore.

No, F that
If we got Bradley (which we won't), we'd pretty much have to get Dukes too, cause we'd instantly become the most interesting team in the whole league to follow.

I heard
he flew off the handle in yesterday's game. Met with Beane today. Guess the meeting didn't go well.

Bradley and yesterday's game
I listened to KNBR on the way in to work this morning, and they mentioned something cryptically about how Bradley 'didn't look good during yesterday's game'.

I wasn't sure what it meant, but obviously something had to have happened.

Offer them Sosa
Beane wouldn't take it, but worth a try.

Makes no sense
for us to go there since he's a FA. Wonder why they couldn't get anything for him though? He's obviously a good player (yes, I realize that he's combustable).

I don't care
I still say take him, he'd EASILY be the most talented OFer on our roster
