Tom (League City, TX): Who is the most likely suitor for Teixiera? What kind of return can we expect?

Keith Law: (2:46 PM ET ) I'm not sure he gets traded this year. He's got over a year left, and unless the Rangers decide to dismantle the team, it might make more sense to hang on to him - entertain offers, of course, but don't deal him unless you're bowled over - into 2008.

Wow

I'd be all for keeping him if I thought this team would contend next season but the odds of that happening are worse than Teixeira resigning. We have to get maximum return for Tex, which means a trade this season...hopefully to the Dodgers

no way they are worse than Tex resigning...

If Millwod and Padilla performed at they capabilities, we get consistency from McCarthy and Tejeda and Loe/Hurley provide something in the 5 spot, I don't think this team would not have to be that much better offensively to make a run at the division. Then again, if they are this bad defensively, then the pitchers don't have a very good chance of performing to that level.

Keith Law: (2:53 PM ET ) Macondo, that's cheating, you knew I'd answer ... in no particular order, Pittsburgh, Washington, Toronto, Seattle, San Diego. That's off the top of my head, though.
