Thirsty thursday at TBIA

does anyone know if the whole thirsty thursday $3 miller lites was a one time thing, or if this is the most genius marketing ploy to make our current teams play acceptable to anebriated fans???  im all for it and i think the price of beer should be correlated to the overall record of the team.

well
i'm taking into account that everything costs more at sporting events... i'll pay $3 but i'm not paying $6.50!

I had no idea..
this promotion even existed.  Apparently it's all draft beers.  Sweet.
"Fire Jon Daniels!" Someone has to start it.

Not all draft beer
the kiosk i got my beer from also had Shiner, which is what i wanted, but they would not sell it for $3

yeah
they consider anything other than bud/coors/miller to be "import" in other words, not cheap.

from what i know...
its every thursday.

the other best offer is $1 hot dogs every game at the kiddy corral or whatever its called.  on a thursday u can get a beer and a dog for 4 bucks total.

after watching the Robert Earl Keane show saturday, i also think having a concert like that every saturday would be a sweet marketing move.  it would have to be a good show like REK was but it would be a nice draw and a good marketing strategy.

the organization has done a couple things to improve the marketing of the tea of late.  it doesnt make up for 1080AM weak weak band strength or very few HD games but its a step in the right direction.

.500 or bust!
