Promo Codes
Does anyone know how to get the promo codes to purchase tickets online through mlb.com? A website? Phone #? Anything here will help!
Gonna go see the Ray's and Yanks tonight, so if you live in Florida, and you have the magic touch - please share!

I've never really bothered
More than likely, the codes originate from either email/phone/letter promotions from the Devil Rays, promotions from advertisers, or even the St. Pete Times printing some promo code in the newspaper.
Prepare to be disappointed in the Trop... thedirkatron will tell you.

Really?
Tonight is Latino Heritage Night...woo hoo...looks like I'm gonna get a stupid Rays Maraca. oh ya baby! I would liked it better if they gave away a free Carne Asada Burrito to the 1st 10,000...I could at least use that. What am I going to do with a Ray's Maraca??

LOL
Though maybe the atmosphere will be a little better with the Yanks in town. At least there will be people there. I swear to God the game I went to (Rays-White Sox) had less than 1,000 fans. That's just sad for a major league game. They announced the attendance at 9,000 or so and my friends and I almost died laughing.

Granted
But the Trop just doesn't have that feel like others do. I really think its because of how dark it is.
The best thing about it, is that you're inside and it's air conditioned.

St. Pete really isn't that bad with homeless, they were probably just out for such a big game, heh... I don't know.
I'm in DC for the summer... it is TERRIBLE here.

RFK Stadium
If you're ever in DC just take the orange or blue line east.
I haven't been, but my sector (within the company I'm interning for) is taking everyone out to a Nats game on Thursday against the Rockies, and then the corporate office is taking interns out on Tuesday, when the Nats play the Astros.
I might go to both, not sure.
Not expecting it to be a great stadium, but it will be one more that I've been to!
