Most is information we already know, but the interest in Salty has to make one think, doesn't it?

Jamey Wright (3-5, 4.11) is pitched well since coming back to the Rangers. Some contending team should take a look.
Several teams have inquired about switch-hitting catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia since the Rangers acquired him as the key piece in the Mark Teixeira trade. Texas' cross-state rival Houston tried for years to get him away from Atlanta but didn't have a match.
Saltalamacchia's presence will probably make Texas catcher Gerald Laird expendable (plus, Rangers manager Ron Washington is said not to be a fan of Laird).
On the other end of that trade, Teixeira is everything Atlanta could have hoped for.
