Dallas Stars Blog I'm Starting

Hey all, just wanted to post here since I know there's quite a few Stars fans here. I'm starting up a Stars blog over at wordpress, and hope to eventually move it over here (Although they require a bit of writing first from what I gather).

I've got the first post up about the new team uniforms released today, and over the coming days will be taking a look at how the roster is shaping up with a look at each position.

It'd be great if anyone interested would check it out, leave any suggestions (The layout will have to be something that waits a bit since you have to pick from their layouts, but this one fits the Stars colors at least) as well as any comments about the posts themselves. Any links to the blog would be appreciated as well and will link back as well, already posted a LSB link.

Just a warning...

there's not a whole lot there, but I just finally put the figurative pen to the paper today finally after telling myself to do it for a while now. There'll be more as I'm kind of wanting to model the way Adam runs it here with the daily news update, as well as posts whenever events occur.

Mainly wanting to do it as a way to keep the writing skills somewhat sharp since as an accountant and the stuff I'm doing it's only quick notation type stuff I write.

I think that the dark sweaters are cool

White ones will take some getting used to, but generally speaking, big improvement in my book.

I think...

the dark ones would be better with at least a green star in place of the player number on the front. Player numbers on the front of a uniform just look odd in hockey. Same way they do on baseball uniforms.

I think that the centered, larger number on the dark sweater looks a lot better than the small offset one on the white sweater. That looks awkward to me. And even though they are balanced out, the ones with C's or A's look especially odd, because with the smaller logo it just looks like there are little items all over the front.
