Global steroids and hgh bust
Posted on NMLR by Mike S. Apparently this is the biggest joint enforcement effort ever, and the DEA got the database of all users. Multiple countries are involved, and 26 U.S. states. Mike's question as posted asks how many pro athletes do you guess will be on that database.

This is great
I've never known why it was MLB's responsibility to police itself, when the laws that were violated were federal, not against the rules of the game at the time. Really... the rules of a baseball game should not have to specifically outline things that are illegal in the real world. And though the fact that steroids becoming prevalent meant that baseball should have devised their own rules sooner, it doesn't change the fact that Congress harassing Selig was one of those pots and kettle situations.
Hopefully this is indicative of a much broader movement to disrupt this billion-dollar industry. And I hope that the feds conveniently ignore any ACLU whining to keep names out of the papers. I want to hear names...
