He played in Dominicana in the 2005-2006 season (winter league).
he is a flash man, good defense, but he has bad behavior. One day he just decided he didnt need to learn more and leave breaking contract.

Several years ago I spent some time in Dominicana. In the La Romana area. Saw games in San Pedro de Macoris, and in La Romana. Are there still good amateur league teams in those cities?

The Rangers have a number of American players they are hoping will play winter ball somewhere in the Caribbean. That includes Jarrod Saltalamacchia, who the Rangers would like to see catching somewhere this winter. They are also hoping to find spots for pitchers John Rheinecker, Matt Harrison and Josh Rupe, third baseman Travis Metcalf and outfielders David Murphy and Jason Botts.

All week here is about rumors some rangers are comning in the winter.... I would like Saltalamacchia to be with my local team.
