OT: UFOs Invade Stephenville

This story is now being picked up nationally.  I'm not sure what these people saw, but it is interesting that so many have reported seeing something.  My father used to be a pastor in Stephenville and that is one of those small Texas super god-fearing towns where no one would admit anything like this because they would be labeled as crazy.  http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/metropolitan/5454709.html

If I were an alien
and had anywhere in the world to land first, I'd certainly have Stephenville near the top of my list....

seinfeld would say
"see, that's the beauty of it. who would believe people in stephenville!?"

I apologize
The mother ship got word I was ailing, and I couldn't work up enough flatulation to mask its' hovering presence.  Things are better now, so the sightings will stop.  Sorry to have caused such inconvenience.

It happens
When I was a kid, my family and I were walking out of a restaurant when we saw a group of people on the sidewalk looking up at what looked like a UFO. There must've been twenty people out there watching that thing. I don't remember what it looked like (I was only 6 or 7), but my mom swears to this day it was a UFO.

claims he saw one once, but admits he was stoned at the time...

UFOs
When I was at USAFA, we came home from going out in Denver one night really late - like 3 am or so - and it was a semi-cloudy night, the moon was about as bright as I've ever seen it.  We looked up in the sky, and saw what looked like it could've been a UFO to some - after breaking through the clouds, it was evident it was a B2, an awesome view of it.  Anyways, if a B2 can look like a UFO, imagine what other "test aircraft" are out there that we're not aware of that may come across as UFOs as well.

I'm just sayin'

That's why it's called a UFO...
... an "unidentified flying object" could be aliens or test aircraft...anything flying and unidentifiable by the viewer.

This thing is probably some top-secret superplane
being tested in secrecy out in the middle of nowhere by the USAF. Why do you think these UFO sighting are always out in the middle of nowhere - that's where the Air Force feels the most comfortable doing their top secret testing!

Trust me, if aliens do land, it's gonna be in Egypt or something, by the pyramids they supposedly had the Egyptians build.

UFO's
"...and you said that we needed to talk,
but my car wouldn't start on that evening
so to your house I started to walk.
On a moonlit, dark stretch of highway,
well something quite strange did appear.
Far above all these lights started flashing
and they pulled me straight up in the air.
Well, the aliens were not what I expected
but their problems were perfectly clear,
some dingos had stolen their babies,
I got 'em back and we drank there space beer."

2 thoughts:

  1. I've never had "space beer"
  2. Charlie Robison is Greatness!

Well,
If you know Charlie, I'm sure you know Bruce. And their best song is a duet called "My Brother and Me" it can be found on Bruce's "Wrapped" CD. Its high quality...
