Around SBN: NFL Roundtable: Which Draft Pick Is Most Likely To Bust?

Prospect Previews updated: Starters #3 & #4

here you go:  http://rangersfarmreport.mlblogs.com

Tired of characters, so I'm going to fill with links to the five best music videos ever, as judged by me:

#5:  The best rock band of the 80's secures their own commercial demise through this response to being forced to make a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_tZO94Mhfzk

#4:  Somehow I am able to take one of the five silliest people in the world seriously here:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jym-RtHHG0s

#3:  Another band that became progressively worse as time went on, and now it's simply gone on for far too long.   But this was 1983 and they were a revelation.  It was such a huge departure from what the music industry was giving us back then:       http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1bgr2HJLB8

#2:   I know he didn't write the song, but this video comes off like a death-bed mea culpa to me.  I love how his life flashes before his eyes:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmVAWKfJ4Go

#1:   The gold standard for music videos:   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-sbqIyeed4g

Unfortunately
I dance exactly like that. Which is why I don't.

Johnny Cash
I struggle to think of another musician that made such a powerful recording so long after their heyday.  Makes me wonder what Lennon would be doing now if he were still alive since he was obviously completely willing to self-examine publicly.

oops
Hadn't made it all the way through your list when I posted that. I didn't realize you had already posted one from those guys (and didn't really suspect it at all).

that song
is the song that one Richard Santo Aurilia has always had his home-park PA dude play for his approach to the plate

Mats
I love The Mats, but the Pixies were the best band of the '80s.

legit
argument;  but that would be the entire debate my good man

Mats v. Pixies

it's not about who sold the most, it's about who made the best music

for me, it's the Mats, but I won't fight with a Pixies guy over a minor distinction between two greats

What about....
Talking Heads vs. Pixes vs. Replacements?

I think that would be the card for a best of the 80s match-up.

Or, you could make a case for Gang of Four based on Entertainment! alone.

The 80s
The fragmentation of pop music reached a point of no return in the 80s.  So many niche artists/bands, so little time to listen.  I've enjoyed pandora.com lately as a way to branch out after many years of being completely away from pop music because of my work (classical musician).
