Clinton has a Dream

Ok, I stole that title from The New York Post, but it was just too perfect.  I am not intending to make any political statements about this I just had to point out some things from the video.  I leave the "What if George W. Bush did this rants to Sharky."
Here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BpEckWHSvXk

I think we could we could all learn a few things from this video.
First off, if you find yourself fighting heavy eyelids it is not a good idea to lean on an elbow.  Game over at that point.

Then there are the ever so near flawlessly executed cover-up maneuvers Slick Willy utilizes.

  1. The first one is easy to miss.  He is leaning on two fingers and when the grip slips and his head dips he very seamlessly moves his hand back as if he is cupping his ear to hear what the speaker is saying.  Problem, Bill you are sitting 5 feet directly behind a rather loud speaker, who is speaking into a microphone.  Think; location, location, location when incorporating this move.
  2. Then he initiates a two perfect "falling asleep head nod into a nod in agreements".  The second is better than the first.  His head tips forward and instead of jerking back up he effortlessly brings it up and then right into bobbing his head in agreement.
This video should be used as a training video for college freshmen.

All this being said, Bill makes a fatal error just before the video ends.  He just cannot resist checking his watch.  I am not aware of any move that this can be done without it looking like you are checking your watch.  Sure, you could do it and not be seen (unless you are sitting directly behind the speaker), but if it is seen it is what it is.

Way to gain some baseball fan cred. in a totally non-baseball thread.  Seriously, that was funny.

This is
completely unrelated, but I am trying to avoid starting multiple diaries in a short amount of time.  Also, this video really speaks for itself and I refuse to this, ------------------------------, for 300 characters.

I watch some talking heads discuss these videos, and all of the guys on the panel laughed and all the women were offended.  My favorite is the one with the lady and the ladder, but it is a bit more graphic.

Everyone here who hasn't fallen asleep during a boring-ass church sermon, raise your hand.  That's what I thought.

well right on ...

I got your email. Well you're lucky like I said "the Motherland" is my favorite city in the country and I've seen them all.  Nothing like waking up on a beautiful San Fran day with that crisp clean air, the cosmopolitan energy, and  hanging out at one of your charming coffee shops.
Such a great city San Fran is.

and
then being asked for change 6 times while you walk the one block to the nearest Starbucks. :)

I want to visit San Fran again.  My one trip there was when I went to work at a dermatology conference for my father-in-law and we invaded Iraq the day that I left for S.F.  We watch riot geared police clear the street from our hotel window.  My wife was six months pregnant so it was kind of scary.  I do remember being asked for change a lot and being asked with a lot more gumption than the panhandlers here in Texas.  Honestly, I don't really mind being asked for change.  I try to keep some bills in the car and in my pocket for such occasions.

Sorry a tangent, but a funny story.  I went to Boston a couple summer ago.  I went to pay for a 5 dollar subway pass from a machine.  It took 20's so I was expecting it to spit out three 5's or even 15 ones, but no.  There I am, dressed in a Rangers t-shirt, in a rather crowded subway station trying to catch and muffle the sound 15 gold Sacajawea dollars.  I felt like a pirate walking around with all those gold coins in my pocket.  When a homeless guy asked for some money for food 15 minutes later all I had was large bills and a pocket full of gold doubloon.  He looked at it and me strangely before accepting it.

HaHa funny story :)

Yeh that't the only thing I don't like about San Francisco is that there are a lot of homeless but that really depends on what part of town you're in. But that goes for most big cities however I do believe that the city gives the homeless like 400 a month which is why a lot of them stick around. The worst part of town is the Tenderloin district as far as the homeless are concerned. There are some shelters off of lower Market so they tend to congregate in that area.
New York used to have a LOT worse homeless problem. Every morning on the trains it never failed that you'd see a man or women with no legs pushing himself up the train with a plastic coffee cup for tips. I believe they outlawed panhandling so it's not so bad anymore. But yeh it sounds like you were in San Fran at the wrong time. It's truly an amazing city.
