I just listened to Michael Young on the Galloway show.

Randy asked him several questions about the team, and every response Michael gave had to do with himself and how he was preparing for the season and what his goals were.

He also indicated that he was unclear on what direction this afterbirth of a franchise was going.

I'm a season ticket holder. Has JD pulled a few bad trades yes no doubt but as I've said before all GM's have bad trades. I also recongize his good trades something you don't want to do. In your world wearing rose colored glasses everything JD does is bad.

Hey, we can talk about minors leaguers...

hopes and dreams... the eternally springing green of spring training... the sweet swings of Salty and Hamilton, Kinsler's growth, and Blalock's (hopeful) resurgance. (Maybe Hurley this year?)

It's just hard to watch a team I'm emotionally invested in get stomped night after night, and it's not something I ever want to do.

(And of course the original question as posed is an impossible way of looking at things... it's not a question I can really answer because nobody gets that choice.)
