Brian Roberts the next to go, should we get involved?

"Roberts Deal Trailing Bedard Trade?
SI.com's Jon Heyman believes completion of an Erik Bedard trade to Seattle could be followed with a trade of Brian Roberts to the Cubs.  He says that would be "possibly for Felix Pie and Sean Gallagher."

Shit I'd trade Kinsler and Byrd for eleven years of Pie and Gallagher.  Sure Kins is a good second baseman but it's not like we are opening a hole that can't be filled.  To me, Kins has way more potential than Roberts and he is locked up for several years. I don't see how the cubbies wouldn't want that.

Hamilton could get shifted to right and Bradley, when ready, could shift to left.  That would be an outstanding defensive and offensive outfield.  Gallagher I would think could fight for the 5th spot but probably end up in AAA and be called up at a later time.

If the cubbies wanted to talk, I'd listen.  If the cubbies would seriously be willing to trade 2 very good prospects/players for a guy who was implamented in the mitchell report then I would run in with a better offer to aquire Pie and Gallagher.

What do you think?
