Brandon Inge is mad
Apparently Inge doesn't get why the Tigers chose to bring in Miguel Cabrera as their new 3B, relegating Inge to utility duties.
I understand the concept of pride and having confidence in your abilities, but this is just stupid.
Brandon Inge sucks.
Miguel Cabrera juga beisbol muy, muy bueno.
Case closed.

When we first moved there my mom and I went to a mall in Stockton at night...it was the last time she went to Stockton at night.

Oakwood Lake Resort
I like that they named a town the Spanish term for 'lard'.

Yep...
Nothing like growing up in lard...I know after I learned Spanish I always thought that was a odd name for a city. Of course Modesto is anything but 'modest'.

Es errata.
Hace 17 años que hablé el español.
La gramática se puede ser muy difícil.

Good spanish
Not to get nitpicky, though, but it sounds better if you say:
Hace 17 años que no hablo español (no need for an "el")
or: No he hablado español desde hace 17 años.
Also, you can eliminate the "se" from the second sentence. "Me", "Te", "Nos", "Os" and "Se" are kind of tricky.

Well
Granted, I didn't learn my Spanish in a classroom, but that's how it's spoken in my house.
Though I would say that "no he hablado español desde hace 17 años" is something I would say, probably more than hace que.
Thanks for your corrections, though. My Spanish is relegated to conversations with friends and family, and grammatical insight is always welcome.
