Thomas Diamond

I've noticed not a lot has been mentioned about him during the fall instructionals (perhaps because he is not present) but generally im wondering if he will return next year to establish himself as a legitimate prospect. His velocity was down after TJ surgery but i'm sure that will improve (like with Frankie Frank).

What does the team do with him next year? Does he start out at AA again or do you start him up at AAA.

Another option, i think, is to put him in the bullpen (like Rupe this year). Let him get acclimated to the major league environment and in 2010 he goes to the rotation.
